Multimedia Production Services

Your on-campus connection.

When your Ryerson project demands high quality audio or video, we are your on-campus connection. We offer a wide range of fee-based multimedia production services for a flat rate of $55 per hour (on a chargeback basis).

We discuss the needs and requirements of your project to accomodate your budget, while maintaining the highest production quality.

We can turn your visions into video. Whether it's for educational or promotional purposes, we can have it filmed, edited and ready for online distribution (such as YouTube or external,Ryecast). Some examples include: 

  • Lab tutorials or demonstrations
  • Faculty research highlights
  • Guest presentations
  • eLearning modules
  • Interviews
  • Promotional videos

The DMP houses a fully equipped audio recording studio. Our studio can accommodate the production of high quality audio recordings that can be used for:

  • Podcasting
  • Webcasting
  • Video narration
  • eLearning modules
  • Interviews

We can also provide location audio recording services if necessary.

Perhaps your D2L course shell or presentation materials could use a refresh, or you'd would like to promote an upcoming event. Some of our graphic design services include the creation of:

  • Conference posters
  • Diagrams and illustrations 
  • Animations

Accessibility

Videos that will be made available through a Ryerson website, D2L course shell, or to the general public, should be accompanied with captioning or a transcript for compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Captions are meant to support people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Please take this into consideration when planning your budget, alternatively learn how to create captions on your own for free.
