There are a variety of exciting career opportunities for our graduates interested in working with families of young children.  Some of these include:

EarlyON  Centres  

  • Programs for families with children 0-6 years to participate in together
  • Information regarding child development and services to support child development
  • May be located in elementary schools to help prepare children for starting school and encourage families to be a part of their children's early learning by helping children build numeracy and literacy skills
  • Familiarizing children and families with school routines
  • Linking families with appropriate community resources for children with disabilities, health and other related services

  • Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) helps newcomers learn English and assists them in the settlement process and integration into Canadian society. LINC programs offer a variety of supportive programs for families with young children.

Multi Service Agencies in the GTA

The following agencies provide a variety of programs and services for young children and families. Services may include early learning and care programs, early intervention services, LINC programs, OEYCs, FRPs, children’s mental health services and recreational programing.
