The ELC is temporarily closed for renovations. Although a specific reopening date has yet to be confirmed, the ELC estimates a temporary closure until at least April 2021.
The Joy of Inquiry
Ryerson University is a place of inquiry. Along with faculty and undergraduate students, children and teachers in the Early Learning Centre engage in inquiry to learn about their world.
Early learning and care is available from age 18 months to four years and in
either full time or part time enrolment. We are also a subsidized program with
the City of Toronto and families who qualify for child care subsidy through Metro Children's Services, external link, opens in new window may receive assistance with their monthly fees.
The ELC currently has a waiting list of approximately 12 – 15 months. To put your information on the waitlist, please fill out the PDF filewaitlist application form [PDF] and email the completed for to elc@ryerson.ca. Please review our PDF filewaitlist policy [PDF] for enrollment guidelines.
The application form does not guarantee your child a space in the program,
however the administrative support at the ELC works diligently to offer space to as many families as possible.
Admission to the ELC program is on a first-come, first-served basis with priority
reserved for Ryerson students, faculty and staff.
