Apply for childcare

The Ryerson Early Learning Centre is a popular child care choice in our community.

Child care is available from age 16 months to age 5 and in either full time or part time enrolment. We are also a subsidized program with the City of Toronto and families who qualify through Metro Children's Services may receive assistance with the child care fees.

We do have a Waiting List. We ask prospective families to fill out the Waiting List Application Form, so we can plan our enrollment accordingly.

Although families may wait for more than a year to enter the program, there is turnover during the summer, as our oldest children move on to school making room for new children to join us. We encourage you to call us to check your status on the Waiting List every 6 months.

Please be sure to include current phone numbers and, if possible, an email address, as it is imperative that we have a communication link with you.

The application form does not guarantee your child a space in the program, but we work diligently to offer space to as many families as possible.

Please print a copy of the Application Form. Once it is completed, please mail or fax it into the ELC.

Admission to the ELC program is on a first-come, first-served basis with priority reserved for Ryerson students, faculty and staff.
