Collection of Assessment Materials, Books, & Articles

The Gerrard Resource Centre provides a collection of resource materials that includes a variety of screening and assessment tools, journals, articles, reports, and books. The GRC has catalogued more than 12,000 resources according to subject. The database can be searched by subject, title, author, ID#, and publisher.

10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.


Membership Information and Registration Forms

Membership is required to borrow materials.  Most materials from the GRC Collection are borrowed for a period of up to one week.  During busy academic periods (October/November and February/March), borrowing privileges may be more limited for certain materials (e.g., assessment and programming materials).

Membership Fees:
Students: $10.00 per year
Professionals, researchers, policymakers, and parents: $35.00 per year



Borrowing Materials, including The Brigance

You are highly recommended to reserve the assessment and programming materials including The Brigance early in the semester, either by phone (416) 979-5000 ext. 2575 or in-person (KHW383A), to ensure availability. During busy academic periods, The Brigance can be borrowed for up to 2 days. Loan periods are extended based on the availability of the material.

Borrowing Schedule for The Brigance:

The Brigance can be reserved for a 2-day period beginning on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.

Pick up: after 12:00 pm

Return: before 12:00 pm on due date

Late Fees:

A late fee of $10 per day per item is charged when the loan period has not been extended.
