Alicja graduated from the Early Childhood Studies Program in 2015. She is a recipient of the Nancy C. Sprott award. Previously, Alicja completed a diploma in Early Childhood Education at Sheridan College and was awarded the Sheridan Excellence Bursary. She has also completed science, nutrition and nature interpretation courses at the University of Guelph.
Alicja has worked in a variety of settings including lab schools, nature education sites and childcare centers. Alicja has also had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for a Ryerson Early Childhood Studies disabilities placement. Along with her work at the Ryerson Early Learning Centre, Alicja leads play-based social skills groups for children (ages three to six) in her spare time.
