Report Release - Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics: Forging Paths to Enhanced Innovation
The Faculty of Science at Ryerson University and the Canadian Science Policy Centre are delighted to release the report “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics: Forging Paths to Enhanced Innovation”. This report highlights key insights and unveils action-oriented, effective strategies that leverage EDI in STEM to advance innovation in Ontario. These findings are from the May 29th roundtable which was among the first ever in Ontario to facilitate dialogue, share knowledge and seek best practices among various sectors.
Dr. Imogen Coe, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Dr. Mehrdad Hariri, CEO & President of the Canadian Science Policy Centre are leading this initiative by bringing together key stakeholders including representatives from academia, companies, government, industry associations, innovation supporters and not-for-profit organizations with the aim of facilitating discussions and building a strong EDI in STEM ecosystem which will coordinate evidence-informed strategies to effectively leverage diversity and drive innovation in Ontario.
