Eileen Arandiga was the Festival Director of the Canadian Film Centre's Worldwide Short Film Festival (WSFF) in Toronto for six years and has worked in the festival community for the past decade. During this time, she has sat on festival juries for ImagineNATIVE, TIFF Kids, Interfilm Berlin, Brief Encounters Bristol and been a guest speaker at festivals throughout the world. In addition, Eileen ran a celebration of Australian film in Toronto and Vancouver called OzFlix for four years and has programmed shorts for the WSFF’s A World of Shorts monthly screening series, Signals Festival in the UK and the Australian Canadian Film Festival in Sydney. Eileen has run filmmaking workshops for young women and is currently a board member of the ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
