Biography:
Michelle Aung Thin was born in Rangoon, Burma (now Myanmar) but left the country with her parents in infancy. She was raised in Ottawa, Ontario, but now resides in Melbourne, Australia, where she teaches writing at the RMIT University. Dr. Aung Thin received her PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Adelaide.
