The DME is a digital literacy and experiential learning lab. We offer one-on-one tutorials that teach students how to use emerging tech and Digital Media, including Virtual Reality, 3D Printing and Photoshop / Illustrator. Located on the 3rd floor of the SLC. You can borrow DME equipment for 48 hr. periods including items such as GoPro cameras, tripods, microphones, Oculus Gos, etc

The Ryerson University Library Collaboratory is a space and interdisciplinary research hub on the 3rd floor of the Library, accessible via the SLC. The Collaboratory provides graduate students, faculty and their research teams with space and technology resources to facilitate research and course development.

From ideation to creation, DMZ Sandbox helps emerging entrepreneurs refine their business idea and develop the skills necessary to build a strong foundation needed to build a leading and competitive Canadian tech business.

Startup Certified: TRSM students are given the opportunity to go through a unique and intensive program from the DMZ's Entrepreneurs In Residence and DMZ founders through a semester. Upon completion of the program, students are placed in a talent pool where they're matched with the city's top tech startups to gain critical real-life experience and implement the skills they learned.
