Day of Pink

The second Wednesday of every April marks the International Day of Pink. Each year, Ryerson community members gather in solidarity against homophobic and transphobic bullying, and to celebrate equity, diversity and inclusion.

Pride at Ryerson

Each June marks Pride month in honour of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York. Throughout the month, Ryerson community members are invited to participate in events that honour, celebrate, recognize and affirm the dignity, equality and increased visibility of people of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

Trans Awareness Month

November marks Trans Awareness Month. Throughout the month, Ryerson community members are invited to participate in advocacy and educational events that celebrate, honour and raise the visibility of the trans community. We also honour the memory of trans people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence on November 20.
