Cultural Awareness Events

The Cultural Awareness Committee hosts celebrations and events throughout the year that raise awareness about diverse cultures at Ryerson.

Annual International Mother Language Day Festival

To celebrate the cultural growth at Ryerson University, the Cultural Awareness Committee is hosting a festival to celebrate International Mother Language Day.

International Mother Language Day promotes linguistic and cultural diversity, as well as multilingualism. At Ryerson University, we are fortunate to experience an environment that is extremely supportive of diversity and this is a reason to celebrate.

The festival will include cultural exhibits, live performances, prizes and free food.
