The information provided on this website is intended to help you effectively plan around the various access restrictions and other construction impacts as we work towards creating an improved and revitalized campus core. To make your day-to-day planning as predictable as possible, Ryerson and the construction crew will try to maintain a consistent and predictable work zone that does not change radically from one day to the next.
Construction fencing placement
The 2019 project zone will be fenced off for public safety. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of Gould Street in front of the School of Image Arts (IMA), Ryerson Image Centre (RIC) and Balzac’s, as well as around the south end of Lake Devo to access Victoria Street south of the construction zone.
Nelson Mandela Walk will be completely closed to the public. Doors on the north and south ends of the Jorgenson Hall (JOR), Podium (POD) and Library (LIB) complex will remain open.
For detailed alternate route information, visit the Pedestrian Routes and Accessibility page.
