Macro Planning Committee

The Macro Planning Committee, also known as the budget committee, meets weekly on a year-round basis to review the university's financial status and to review and approve all operating and capital funding requests. It is comprised of four senior executive members, including the provost; vice-president, administration and operations; deputy provost and; chief financial officer.

Responsibilities

The committee develops the strategy and process for the annual budget development. Their responsibilities include the review and approval of:

  • annual budget calls
  • budget submissions
  • additional funding requests
  • budget reduction evaluations
  • completed academic and administrative budget package submissions
