Cancellation and damaged device fees

When migrating to the TMU plan: If your current carrier applies any fees related to contract cancellations, an assessment must be done within your faculty or department to determine the cost benefit of the cancelation fee compared to the monthly savings. Prior to migrating, you must receive your leader’s approval.

After activating with Rogers: If you need to cancel your TMU plan contract early, any fees related to cancellation is the responsibility of your faculty or department. During cancellations, you and your faculty or department have the option of purchasing the phone outright, reassigning the account to another employee or suspending the account.

If you received a new phone along with your TMU plan activation and the phone is lost, stolen or broken during the term of your contract, your faculty or department is required to pay out the remaining balance of the phone’s cost.
