Pamela Robinson, Ph.D.

Title:

Assistant Professor School of Urban and Regional Planning Ryerson University

Biography:

Pamela Robinson is an assistant professor in the School of Urban and Regional Planning. She has received several awards, including:  the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Award for Teaching Excellence (2004) and an OPPI Award for Planning Excellence (1996). 

She is a founding partner in a Toronto based urban planning firm and has worked previously as a municipal planner. 

Pamela's research has involved new pedagogic models for urban sustainability curriculum and working with Toronto's Sustainability Roundtable to 

Research Interests:

explore tools for advancing urban sustainability.  Her research interests are: urban sustainability, environmental design, environmental planning, urban governance, public engagement, and progressive pedagogy.
