Crystal Kim is Legal Counsel at Toronto Metropolitan University, providing legal and strategic advice and support to the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, and other university clients in the areas of research, IP, and contract law.

Crystal graduated with a JD from Queen’s University. Throughout law school, she was a student caseworker and team leader at Queen’s Legal Aid, providing legal services to low-income clients from Kingston, Napanee, and surrounding areas. In her last year of law school, Crystal completed an exchange program at the National University of Singapore and continued traveling Asia and Europe afterwards. 

Prior to her law studies, Crystal lived in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she worked at an NGO developing programs for sustainable development for women and children. Crystal also holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences with a Minor in Classical Studies from Western University.
