Kyra Liss is Legal Counsel and Governance Advisor in the Office of the General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Governors at Ryerson University. She provides legal and strategic advice and assistance in the areas of corporate and commercial law, real estate law, public procurement, and corporate governance.
Kyra received her JD from Windsor Law in 2019. Throughout law school, she volunteered as a caseworker at Community Legal Aid and Legal Assistance of Windsor, providing legal services to marginalized, low-income clients in the Windsor-Essex region.
Kyra completed her articles in the Office of the General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Governors through Ryerson’s Law Practice Program, and was admitted to the Bar in Ontario in 2020.
Kyra also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queen’s University.
