How to Make an Access-to-Information Request Pursuant to FIPPA

The information you are seeking may be routinely available at Ryerson without needing to submit a formal request pursuant to FIPPA.  Try contacting the department you believe holds the records to see what is publicly accessible. 

If you wish to make a formal request pursuant to FIPPA please follow these instructions: all requests must be in writing, make reference to FIPPA, and be accompanied by $5 (request-processing fee).  Please make cheques payable to Ryerson University.  For a standardized Ryerson access request form click on the link below:

**Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Office of the General Counsel and Board Secretary staff are currently working remotely and not on campus. Please refrain from forwarding the FIPPA Access to Information Request Form and Application fee to the office.

Applicable Fees for FIPPA Requests:
