Be Part of the Future of Nursing
Ready to take your career to the next level in advanced clinical practice, education, policy, management, or leadership roles? Ryerson’s Graduate Nursing programs will prepare and position you to be a part of the future of nursing.
Each of our programs has specific admission requirements. Admission to all programs is competitive; meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
Check specific Admission requirements and application instructions for:
- The MN Course stream program
- The MN Thesis stream program
- The Combined MN/PHCNP Certificate program
- The PHCNP Certificate program
In general, we look for students who have strong research backgrounds and good academic standing in both nursing and non-nursing subjects, can contribute to the Ryerson community, and embody excellence in nursing.
When to Apply
The First Consideration deadline date is January 19. For those candidates wishing to have their application reviewed for the First Consideration Deadline, the Yeates School of Graduate Studies Admissions Office must have received all of the Required and Supplementary Supporting Documentation no later than January 19.
We continue to consider applications until the program is full or formally closes, which is normally in early June. Find out whether the program is still open.
The Application Process
All applications and supporting documentation are submitted electronically. Please download and use our MN Application Guide and Checklist [PDF] or the PHCNP Certificate Application Guide and Checklist [PDF] to ensure your application is complete.
Due to the volume of applicants, incomplete applications cannot be considered.
