The GRAD Breather series is back this fall and we've added 'Nutrition Fridays'!
Need a quick breather during a busy semester? De-stress with the Yeates School of Graduate Studies and join fellow grad students for a series of mindfulness practice sessions covering wellness and nutrition. Sessions are 30 minutes and you can attend as many sessions as you like.
GRADBreather: Mindfulness Sessions
The mindfulness sessions aim to create spaces for mindful breathing and centring techniques. Through these techniques, you will work to strengthen your sense of presence in your personal, academic and professional life.
GRADBreather: Nutrition Sessions *New this year!*
The nutrition sessions are led by Ryerson’s School of Nutrition. This isn’t your mother’s cooking! Food is personal, and menu planning and cooking is not easy for busy grad students. These sessions will explore the constraints of time, motivation, finance and social understanding on everyday nutrition and wellness.
Attendees of nutrition sessions will be entered into a draw for a Magic Bullet!
Note: GRADBreather sessions are eligible for the Future Smart program. Attending two sessions is required for one unit in Future Smart.
