Peter studied Mathematics in England, obtaining his Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees at the University of Warwick and King's College, London. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto on uniformly resolvable designs. Peter joined Ryerson in 1994, and when the university formed a new Department of Mathematics in 2005, Peter became its first full professor.
Peter is regularly invited to talk at major international conferences and has over 40 refereed journal publications. During his tenure, he has successfully supervised numerous students at all levels, from undergraduates through to postdoctoral researchers. Many of his students have published research results and progressed within academia at higher levels.
