DepartmentTeresa is a graduate of the history program from the class of 2017. During her time at Ryerson she completed two experiential learning internships. One to conduct an artefact inventory at Gibson House Museum and another at Heritage Toronto where she contributed to the early stages of the creation of the Legacy Plaques map.

Biography:

After her time at Ryerson, Teresa went on to complete a Master of Information at the University of Toronto with concentrations in Archives and Records Management and Critical Information Policy Studies.

Throughout her studies, Teresa held archival and records management positions at several university archives, special collections, and in government. During this time, she developed a strong interest in digital preservation specifically on the balance of legal requirements and public expectations for open access. Now, Teresa is currently a graduate intern at the J. Paul Getty Trust in digital preservation where she participates in daily digital preservation activities and advocacy initiatives. One of Teresa’s major projects at the Getty will involve her with the enrichment of the Getty’s web archiving program in preparation for a full website redesign.
