Moving In

2024-2025 Move-In Information 

The move-in date for residence will be August 25, 2024.

You move into residence a week before classes. This allows time to get used to the campus and Toronto. During the first week after move-in there are a number of orientation activities run on campus and in the residence. More information on orientation programs and events will be posted soon!`

A 24-25 Move In Booklet will be uploaded in the summer of 2024.

Your arrival time is included in the move-in email that will be sent out in August, from Housing & Residence Life.

How to get to Residence

These are the recommended directions to get to the residences.


Daphne Cockwell Complex (DCC)

  • From Hwy 401: take Yonge St., turn left (east) onto Gerrard St., turn right (south) onto Church St. 
  • From the Gardiner Expressway take Jarvis St. north to Richmond St., turn left (west) on Richmond St., turn right (north) on Yonge St., turn right (east) on Gerrard St., turn right (south) on Church St. 

DCC Unloading Zone

 

International Living/Learning Centre (ILC)

  • From Hwy 401 take Yonge St. turn east (left) onto Carlton St., turn south (right) on to Jarvis St.
  • From the Gardiner Expressway take Jarvis St. north to Richmond St., turn left (west) on Richmond St., turn right (north) on Bay St., turn right (east) on College St. (becomes Carlton St.), turn right (south) on Jarvis St.

ILC Unloading Zone

  • ILC's unloading zone is located in front of ILC (240 Jarvis St.).

 

Pitman Hall (PIT)

  • From Yonge St. turn east (left) onto Gerrard St., from Gerrard St. turn south (right) onto Mutual St. From the Gardiner Expressway take Jarvis St. north to Richmond St., turn left (west) on Richmond St., turn right (north) on Yonge St., turn right (east) on Gerrard St., turn right (south) on Mutual St.

Parking

There are many parking options in and around Toronto Met for you to park your car on Move-in Day. Please note that the average parking price for a Sunday maximum in Toronto is $20. It is a good idea to bring cash, as some parking lots do not accept cards.
