Your total compensation statement summarizes your compensation and benefits for the previous calendar year. Your pension statement (if you are enrolled in the pension plan) reflects your Ryerson pension earned up to December 31 of the previous year.
Note: Pension statements are issued annually in June, reflect the previous calendar year and are made available only to employees who contributed to the plan in the previous calendar year. For example, if you joined the plan in March, you will not receive a pension statement until June the following year.
If you have more than 35 years service, you will no longer receive annual pension statements, but will be notified by mail each year of the annual cost-of-living indexation amount of your pension.
If you have trouble accessing your annual statements, contact pension and benefits for assistance.
Ryerson reserves the right, at any time, to amend, change or discontinue any benefit coverage. If there is a question about coverage referred to in any portion of this benefits communication, the master contract from the insurer is the governing document.
