Tailored Experiential Learning
We foster entrepreneurial education by teaching the lean startup methodology. Our approach is to coach and advise our members throughout their entrepreneurial journeys. All members, no matter where they are in their journeys of their startup, have the opportunity to access and participate in programs that we offer and support.
From primary membership, to offering mentorship, there are many ways you can get involved with the iBoost community.
Ways of Engaging
As a Member
For those looking to develop a venture/commercialize technology – the iBoost Incubator will provide them with mentorship, advisory services and funding opportunities to create their business.
Community members are an important part of the iBoost. Participants at the community level can drop-in to events from socials to hackathons where they have the opportunity to gain new skills and grow their network.
As a Mentor
Mentors are subject matter experts, who can speak with iBoost members or are looking to facilitate workshops/sessions. Whether you can offer help in business development, management, website design or other areas, we’d love to talk.

There are no cohorts. iBoost accepts companies on a rolling basis. You can apply and start your journey with us at any time.
The iBoost team welcomes early-stage/pre-revenue startups and entrepreneurs from Ryerson and the broader Toronto community. Most of our startups are working on innovative software-based solutions in B2B and B2C markets in areas such as entertainment and health care, EdTech, FinTech, and SaaS offerings. Our teams typically consist of one or more founders.
The process to apply involves filling out our application online. If requested, you will be asked to come in for an interview.
