RU Interprofessional: Collaborating for Healthy Communities facilitates and supports the process of developing a sustainable culture of interprofessional education, practice and research collaboration within and across the Faculty of Community Services (FCS) and its community partners. The ultimate goal of RU Interprofessional is to ensure that all FCS schools have the capacity to prepare and engage students in interprofessional practice.
Central to the philosophy and activities of RU Interprofessional is a focus on determinants of health, social justice, equity and community health.

The IPE Open House is an opportunity for students, staff and faculty interested in and engaged in interprofessional education to celebrate IPE work which has taken place over the past academic year and look towards future interprofessional opportunities.
The IPE Open House is a drop-in organized by RU Interprofessional and the Ryerson Interprofessional Student Association (RISA). Please let us know that you'll join us – we’ll get some snacks and put on the kettle.

Welcome to ‘Interprofessional Education Matters!’ - a workshop series created for the community that is the Faculty of Community Services. Facutly, staff and students are all welcome to attend.
Focusing on communication, patient/client/family /community-centred care, role clarification, team functioning, collaborative leadership and conflict resolution, the workshops welcomes internal and external subject matter experts as well as community partners into the Faculty to share their stories and perspectives.
