About the award
For the student entering the third-year newspaper stream with the highest cumulative grade point average.
This award was set up by Dean Tudor, Professor Emeritus, in honour of his mother, who liked reading newspapers. Later in life, she bought The New York Times every day except Sunday: It was just too heavy.
