God has been so GOOD to me these past four years. I made the best friends of my life here. I fell in love with downtown Toronto, I learned to be a great journalist, I grew more into the person I was made to be. I asked big questions, I failed and tried again, I did things my younger self wouldn't have believed. I'm proud of us, class of 2020. YJ

I remember in first year I thought I was a journalism fraud because I forgot to capitalize the 'D' in McDonald's and got that fail warning. I thought my whole career was over, but here I am four years later, graduating not only with the ability to spell McDonald's correctly, but with so many new skills and friendships that'll last a lifetime.

I started this journey with Christ & ended with Him. It wasn’t easy — I didn’t expect it to be. Looking back four years later, I realized all my wounds turned into beautiful scars. If I could go back to my first day at Frosh Week to my last day as a Jschool student, I’d do it again. That to say, never give up. I promise you it’s all worth it.

I learned a lot, but I never learned how to use PaperCut.

I am so grateful for all the lifelong friends I've made at RSJ, and the faculty that have supported us along the way! I will, however, forever be haunted by the capital 'F' in BuzzFeed.
