Michelle Schwartz is a Educational Developer in the Teaching Development unit of the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. She provides research support for all Teaching Development programming, and develops the content for the website, newsletters, and Best Practices documents. Her primary responsibilities include developing workshops and training materials in support of inclusive education, including open access education and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), as well as assisting with the work of the Teaching and Learning Spaces Working Group.

Michelle has a BA in Art History from New York University and received her MLIS from Long Island University, where she specialized in Archives and Records Management. She is a Research Fellow at TMU's Centre for Digital Humanities, where she co-directs the Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada (external link)  project.
