Working with a diverse student body that includes students with disabilities requires TA/GA’s to use innovative and creative teaching methods to ensure the inclusion and engagements of all students. Universal Design for Learning uses a variety of strategies that are well supported by research and include in-class practices, assessment practices, and course website practices that better allow our materials to reach all of our students. In this workshop, we will explore best practices for creating an accessible and inclusive learning environment through an interactive teaching simulation.
