Is it clear to students why they are learning what they are, or why they are completing the assignments they do? In this workshop, facilitators will share innovative strategies for designing assignments and rubrics that effectively scaffold course learning outcomes, and that serve to develop student learning skills as part of the delivery of course content. Participants will reflect on learning outcomes in their own course offerings, discuss examples of summative assessments, and develop strategies for designing effective rubrics for new or existing assessments.
