COVID 19 UPDATE
In keeping with Ryerson University’s move towards virtual learning, Live Actor Simulation at Ryerson has successfully moved to conducting Simulations online. LAS@R will continue to provide our services exclusively online until such time that our government and public health agencies determine that it is safe to go back into classrooms and businesses.
For information on how LAS@R can provide your learners with a rewarding and safe Simulation experience, see the RYERSON TODAY article featuring our success with virtual Simulation, opens in new window.
Live actor simulations are more realistic than role play and more powerful than case studies.
A centre of excellence since 1990, the Live Actor Simulation program at Ryerson (or LAS@R, formerly the Interpersonal Skills Teaching Centre) is dedicated to the learning and teaching of interpersonal communication skills. A leader in experiential learning, the LAS@R works closely with clients to build and deliver live, performance-based simulations which target specific learning objectives, enhance professional development initiatives and support a variety of performance assessment models.
