Biography

Christine has always been passionate about technology, starting from when she received her first DOS computer at six years old. While growing up, she also found a strong interest in design and decided to combine two, which led her to her major in Graphic Communications Management at Ryerson. It was there that she took on an internship at a software-consulting firm, Infusion, doing graphic design for their marketing department. After graduation, she stayed full-time where she had the opportunity to help design applications on a variety of different platforms like web, Kinect and Windows 8. As well on her spare time, Christine is part of a mobile startup called Spot doing the user experience and graphic design.

Why Digital Media

During her experience at Infusion, Christine discovered that she enjoyed designing for applications. This opportunity allowed her to merge her two skillsets of design and development together – the perfect blend. Combined with an interest in entrepreneurship, she chose the Master of Digital Media program at Ryerson, which offered a mix of creativity, technology and business.

Final Project

A startup that offers a platform for collectors to visually organize and show off their collections.
