Biography
Jamie is a recent graduate of Ryerson’s Media Production program. Her interest in television production sparked at a young age which is when she knew that she wanted to produce content on a variety of platforms. Little did Jamie then know what those platforms would consist of and the major impact that the digital realm would have on the entertainment industry. After interning at Much Music, MTV and most recently The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jamie’s passion for design and creating content in the web and digital world grew exponentially as she was able to see the mass audience that a simple Instagram, Facebook or Twitter post was able to reach. The interconnectivity between digital and television platforms is ultimately what brought Jamie to this Digital Media program and she is looking forward to learning more about it.

Jamie now fully comprehends the impact that the digital media industry has on our world and how versatile it has become. Digital media is constantly advancing the media industry and is definitely contributing to the evolution of television and online platforms. Jamie strongly believes that digital media can make or break a marketing or advertising campaign and is most definitely a game changer in the media industry.
