Charlie created, coordinated and executed communications and marketing strategies for various national level associations. He crafted brand implementation plans, penned creative scripts, and produced several other multimedia projects.

Previous to MediaStyle, Charlie served as the Bank Street BIA's digital marketing and community relations manager, also in Ottawa. The BIA heavily relied on him to build and maintain their online presence. He wrote content for BIA merchants. He also produced, wrote and edited promotional films. During his tenure, Charlie developed an online community that reached more than 100,000 people every month.

In 2014, Charlie graduated from Carleton University's journalism program. At Carleton, Charlie received the 2014 Barry C. Scott/Canadian Pacific Railway Scholarship, awarded to an outstanding student in the business journalism program. He also received the Bob Farquharson Memorial Award, given to a student who shows an interest and ability in print journalism. In 2013, Charlie was named to the CIBA-ABIC All-Canadian Team as a member of the university's baseball club. As a member of the team, he participated in four national championship tournaments and was nominated for pitcher of the year in 2011.

He's also contributed to various publications and news outlets, including the CBC, Apt613, The Charlatan, Centretown News, Capital News and various online sports blogs.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys watching baseball, reading about baseball and playing fetch with his husky, Zoey. Her favourite ball is a baseball.
