Why Digital Media?
Digital media has permeated almost every aspect of contemporary world culture. Given its powerful, revolutionary impact on our lives and our stories, I believe a deep and nuanced study of its inner workings and our relationship to this medium is integral to understanding who we are now as well as where it is we are headed. Even though we’ve come so far in the last few decades, I firmly believe there remains a vast amount of untapped potential here; particularly in terms of providing under-served communities with access to networks of productivity and exchange.
