Aadil Khan

Mohamed Abel Fattah

Education:

  • University of Guelph, Bachelor of Arts and Science (Computer Science and Psychology)

Specialization:

User Experience Design

Biography:

During his time at the University of Guelph, Aadil fell into the world of user experience (UX) design as a way to merge his study interests. This prompted a tumultuous freelance career thatled to him designing for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Philharmonic (he still doesn’t know how that happened). These experiences would lead Aadil to further focus on UX design and pivot to a career in financial technology as both a UX designer and researcher.

Being involved in the digital world from so many different angles has taught Aadil to appreciate the ability to have an interdisciplinary skillset. He believes that the more you can connect your skills together and bring it into your work, the more capacity you have to tell the stories you want.

Why Digital Media?

At his time in the MDM program, Aadil hopes to continue building his skills as a UX designer and pickup new skills to compliment this. His research interests include contemporary fitness and technology usage, the effectiveness of gamification on health/wellness apps, and interactive storytelling.
