Led by Innovative & Experienced Entrepreneurship Educators

The MEIE program is delivered by a team of practitioners with extensive industrial and market experience. Teaching from experience gained through practice.  You will be guided in a thrilling and motivating way to create your own company. You will build a network of contacts and be assigned industry specific mentors to help you along the way.  As a student, you will take your future in your own hands and choose the path most suited for you.

Practice Based Learning

We designed the MEIE program to deliver learning through practices of actionable theory, which focus on the process, as well as the outcome. Following the  "Lean Startup" methodology, our program fosters your ability to think creatively in your quest to develop innovative products and services, and provide real value to users using sound engineering practices. In addition, you will be working side-by-side with world leading industrial partners, start-ups and a vast venture capital community to accelerate your ideas.

Instructors

The Masters in Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship program brings together some of the most successful entrepreneurs and investors to connect, teach and develop our students. Our faculty members have a deep and extensive understanding of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and specialize in various areas such as; emerging technology, energy and sustainable innovation and biomedical engineering.

Mentors

In addition to the core faculty and lecturer participation, the MEIE program has a technical subject matter expert mentor for your team. The CEIE Mentorship Program is a face-to-face mentoring program, whereby mentors and entrepreneurs are matched to establish an ongoing technical mentorship relationship throughout the duration of your project development.

Business Mentor

The role of the business mentor is to provide specialist assistance, especially with respect to the business aspect of the your project. The business mentor may also be a critical person for you to consult in terms of market opportunities for the product/company.

Technical Mentor

Technical mentors are made available to you only and are a mandatory component of the project development. The role of the technical mentor is to guide you through the technical knowledge component of the project. The mentor is the main point of contact whilst dealing with technical questions throughout.
