In a few days the business of the university will pause as we take an extended break to enjoy the holiday season with friends and family.
At this opportunity for reflection, I am filled with gratitude at the wonderful community we share at Ryerson. Our campus community of students, faculty, staff and alumni has always been a source of strength and support for me, and I hope it is for you too.
Communities give us a sense of belonging, a place where we come together for a higher purpose and enjoy the benefits of a shared experience. My wish is that in the coming year we will work with renewed goodwill and purpose to strengthen the Ryerson community, ensuring that it continues to be welcoming, inclusive and fulfilling for us all.
