Inside the University’s Quad on a summer day.

The Standing Strong report is the result of 10 months of conversations and community engagement, learning and unlearning, research and reflection.

I am pleased to share that the university has received the final report from the Standing Strong (Mash Koh Wee Kah Pooh Win) Task Force.

Earlier today, the Standing Strong (Mash Koh Wee Kah Pooh Win) Task Force co-chairs Elder Joanne Dallaire and Catherine Ellis formally presented the report to the university’s executive team.

The final report is the result of 10 months of conversations and community engagement, learning and unlearning, research and reflection. I cannot thank the members of the Task Force enough for their commitment, dedication, and for their insights that will shape the future of our university for years to come.

The report and its 22 recommendations will be presented to our Board of Governors at an upcoming board meeting and will be shared with the broader Ryerson community immediately following review by the Board.

Mohamed Lachemi
President & Vice-Chancellor, Ryerson University
