Charlotte Lee

Charlotte Lee’s research focuses on health services evaluation and collaboration in healthcare (e.g., interprofessional team, collaboration between patients and providers, collaboration among different health service sectors). She is particularly interested in understanding how interpersonal relationships affect teamwork processes and outcomes in health care. Lee’s current work aims to:  a) identify the antecedents and teamwork outcomes associated with interpersonal relationships; b) enhance the collaboration between emergency management and public health officials during public health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a certified oncology nurse, she is also involved in the study of health services issues associated with cancer care, such as role definition for specialty oncology nurses, work environment issues and knowledge translation from research to clinical settings.

Charlotte Lee is involved in teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Additionally, she has conducted workshops for an interprofessional audience (including engineers, occupational therapists, social workers and early childhood educators).
