Welcome to Open Learning at Ryerson University. The open learning projects featured here reflect Ryerson’s emphasis on developing high-quality online and blended learning offerings.
Our Time to Lead, Ryerson University’s five-year academic plan encourages the use of a diversity of innovative learning and teaching methods to enable greater student engagement and success.
The projects found on this website were produced through collaboration across Ryerson among the units that support teaching and learning in the classroom as well as in the digital space including: the Digital Media Projects Office, the Digital Education Strategies Team at the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, the Learning and Teaching Office and the Office of eLearning.
Ryerson open learning projects are funded by eCampusOntario, a portal for learners to find online and mostly online courses available at Ontario colleges and universities supported by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. Each project provides open resources that can be used either as stand-alone learning objects or integrated into a course.
