Online Showcase Festival
Online Showcase Festival: Fall 2020
The Ryerson School of Performance season is different this year.
Typically, we would invite you into our performance spaces to attend and engage with our productions.
Although public health guidelines means that this is not going to be possible this year, the students of the School of Performance have worked tirelessly on productions to share with you through this online festival.
The need is greater than ever this year to continue sharing stories. The distance that separates us physically threatens to weaken our security as a community. The stories and productions that we are sharing in this festival hope to help bridge those physical gaps. Thank you for showing up virtually. Your continued support helps us celebrate the adaptive resilience of our Ryerson School of Performance students and community.
The Online Showcase Festival will include special programming featuring fully realized productions, live talk-back sessions, and behind-the-scenes documentation of the process.
The third year acting students have been working with guest director Iqbal Khan to interpret multiple translations of Chekov's Three Sisters. This classroom project is being presented to an internal audience of School of Performance students and instructors.
