Alysia Myette's experience in the fashion industry ranges vastly from work in theatre costume with Two Planks and Passion, studio assistance at NSCAD University, interning with small local businesses including Futurstate and Victory and Vice as well as Charlie and Gus children's wear. Alysia has also worked as an assistant designer at Joe Fresh and Coconut Grove Intimates. In Toronto, she has worked with Kleinfeld's Bridal and YNOT, a local brand of accessories and technical gear. Currently Alysia also works as a bridal alterations specialist at Shoppe and Tailor. Accomplishments include competing and placing in the top 10 of Canada's Art of Fashion Competition and receiving the Helen Sulo and Hutko Award in 2013 and 2014 as well as completing her MA in Fashion at Ryerson University in 2019.
