Jonathan Higgins continues to be one of Torontoʼs most versatile character and leading actors (see IMDb) with a long list of film credits in both the US and Canada. Recent credits include the Netflix series V-Wars, In the Dark (CBS), RACE and the upcoming film the United States vs. Billy Holiday, directed by Lee Daniels. Jonathan holds a B.A. cum laude in English Literature from Middlebury College and received his MFA in Acting from Temple University in Philadelphia where he also taught in the undergraduate acting department.

He is currently an on camera acting instructor at the Toronto Film School and taught Meisner technique in the Humber College Acting for Film and Television Program as well as Introductory On Camera technique for Ryerson School of Performance, Humber College Theatre School and Randolph College of Performing Arts. He is co-founder of Actor’s Imagination Studio, one of Toronto’s leading independent training studios.
