On Tuesday, June 30, 2020 graduates, faculty and staff tuned into a zoom celebration. The festivities included remarks from FCAD Dean, Charles Falzone, School of Performance Chair, Caroline O'Brien, and representatives of the graduating classes in Acting, Dance, and Production.

Additionally, the graduates had prepared a short video to commemorate their time as students. The video featured photos from the students' 4 years of study, along with headshots and baby pictures of all those who were figuratively "crossing the stage".

The class of 2020 is utterly unique, having started and ended their time at Ryerson School of Performance under distinctive circumstances. This cohort was the last to study at the school's former facility at 44 Gerrard St., moving studio spaces just 2 months into their degrees in 2016. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, studies were moved online, just 2 months before the group was set to finish. Most notably, the class of 2020 transfered their capstone projects to the online sphere, as can be enjoyed at, opens in new window. These singular circumstances brought out more creativity, innovation, and resilience than ever could have been expect of a group of emerging artists.

Congratulations to the class of 2020!
