Arts and Contemporary Studies
Ryerson’s Arts and Contemporary Studies (ACS) program invites students to consider the study of social groups, historical events, and a broad range of ideas that have shaped Western and global cultures.
Our department offers and teaches courses that are part of the Arts and Contemporary studies program, with a focus on Global Studies and Diversity & Equity. The Department also teaches some of the mandatory courses offered to ACS students (ACS401: Intro to Research & Statistics) and a core elective in the Global Studies stream (ACS402: Intro to Global Studies).
Environment and Urban Sustainability
The program in Environment and Urban Sustainability is designed for students interested in environmental and conservation issues. Our Department teaches a required course, POL377: Urban Sustainability Policy.
