Biography:

Dr. Adam Thorn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University. In addition to a PhD in Policy Studies from Ryerson University, Adam holds an MA and BA in political science from the University of Western Ontario.

Research Interests:

Adam’s research is focused on the intersection of risk and public policy, particularly as it relates to environmental policy. He has also been involved in policy research in the Great Lakes Region as a research assistant with the Great Lakes Policy Research Network and as a contributor in the Transborder Research University Network’s (TRUN) ‘Great Lakes Futures Project’.

Current Courses:

Adam teaches courses in comparative, environmental, and Canadian politics.
