Julia Macan

Julia Macan is the Graduate Program Administrator for the MA in Public Policy and Administration program. Julia joined the MPPA program in 2017. 

Julia started her career at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Department of Politics and Public Administration in 2009, where she worked as the Department Administrator. Julia later worked for over five years as a Graduate Program Administrator for the Master of Planning in Urban Development program, Faculty of Community Services / Yeates School of Graduate Studies.

As the Graduate Program Administrator of the MPPA program, she provides administrative support to the Graduate Program Director, Department Chair, graduate students, and Faculty of Arts/YSGS to promote effective and efficient operations of the program. Her responsibilities range from overseeing admissions activities, acting as a liaison on students’ behalf with various administrative departments, providing information pertaining to graduate policies and procedures, managing the program’s operating budget, monitoring graduate students’ funding packages, and coordinating program related events.

She enjoys travel, music and various sports. She is currently completing Chang School's Fundamentals of Interior Design Certificate.
